武汉大学信息素养协会于2006年6月由30多位研究生和本科生发起,正式成立于2006年9月,是国内第一个以信息素养为主旨的学生社团。协会业务指导单位为武汉大学信息管理学院,首席学术指导老师为武汉大学信息资源研究中心主任、博士生导师马费成教授,国际顾问为美国信息资源管理委员会资深顾问F.W.Horton霍顿教授。

宗旨:关注信息社会与知识价值,提升信息素养,为终身学习导航

目的:普及信息素养理论,转变信息观念,提高信息意识,提升信息能力,遵守信息伦理。为同学们在互联网时代的学习与成长,信息时代终身学习能力的培养和更好地利用信息提升自己综合素质等方面搭建信息社会与网络时代的交流平台,激发创意,锻炼能力。

组织结构:

协会实行会长负责制(一名会长,两名副会长)
协会设有:策划部、事务部、品牌运营部、公共关系部、技术支持部、以及特别兴趣小组(SIGs,Special Interest Groups)
策划部:活动组织、策划、负责活动的策划书撰写、安排和组织、活动记录
事务部:财务、会员管理、会议记录、档案管理、文件撰写、活动场所申请等
品牌运营部:Logo设计、海报设计、新闻报道、活动宣传
公共关系部:负责和学校,学院,团委,图书馆以及其他校内社团机构联系合作、向校内外机构争取资金赞助、与国内外相关机构交流合作
技术支持部:网络平台的建设与维护
特别兴趣小组(SIGs):会员针对信息社会和网络时代话题自发组建的兴趣小组,灵活的学习与交流组织

活动策划

常规活动-沙龙:话题围绕信息社会与终身学习,以内部成员研讨为主(暂定两周一次)
不定期的讲座:邀请从事信息素养教育以及信息社会,网络时代学习的专家学者为同学们讲座
实践活动:信息技能的挑战赛(如搜索比赛)以及信息素养方面的调研 ,指导会员参与科研项目
指导活动:在毕业论文期间,利用网络指导同学们的论文格式,参考文献著录。宣传信息伦理,鼓励同学们自觉遵守相关的知识产权保护条例以及社会伦理。
网络交流活动:设置信息素养协会网络空间,撰写相关文章,宣传理论和活动,表彰实践;建立信息素养与信息素养教育的网络交流平台。

Introduction

Information Literacy Association of Wuhan University, which is the first student league with substance of information literacy, is found in June of 2006 by more than 30 graduate and undergraduate students, and is established formally in September of 2006. The association is instructed professionally by the School of Information and Management of Wuhan University. Professor Ma Feichen, the chef of the information resource research center of Wuhan University, is the chef academic director of the association; moreover, the international counselor of it is Professor F.W.Horton, the senior counselor of the information resource management committee in U.S.

The tenet of the association is improving information literacy and stepping into the new times.

The developing intention of the association is spreading the theory of information literacy, changing the information attitude, increasing the information consciousness and improving the ability of information. It provides a communicative platform of information society and internet times for the students to learn and grow in the internet times, to cultivate the ability of learning for life in information times and use the information better to improve comprehensive quality.

As the instruction units of the association, the School of Information and Management of Wuhan University, the first and largest institution and research center of information and management in China, is approved as the important literacy and social science research center, and is also the only important research center of this filed. The school communicates with other international institution frequently and builds good academic and communicative relationship with more than 10 national schools of library and information in U.S, Japan, Canada, France, Britain and German. As the member of IFLA, the school also builds long-term and steady relationship with IFLA and so on. A top-rank research center of this filed and a foundational lab of integrated technology in Library, Information, Archival and Publishing, are configured with the school, as well as a lab of integrated technology in Information System and Electronic Commerce. The school is also provided with a research library which possess of the most Chinese and foreign books of this filed, involving in Library Science, Information Science, Archival Science and Publishing Science, Information Resource Management, Editing & Publishing Science, Management Science and Engineering, Electronic Commerce and so on. What’ above has provided abundant science resource and professional guide for the development of the association.

Since founded, the association, an integrated team with strong technicality, innovation and practice, is always focusing on the developing, training and communication of the members. It has hold the university circuit lecture of Mr. Zhu Xueheng successfully and run many large search competitions, large commonweal league activities and lots of lectures about information literacy, which is responded broadly and appreciated by teachers and students. The association is always the navigator of campus, with the substance of cultivating and improving the information literacy by focusing on the value of society and knowledge and navigating the learning for life.
